UPSC NDA and NA (II) Notification 2015 for 375 Defence and Naval Academy Posts Details

UPSC has released the notification of NDA and NA (II) 2015 for 375 posts of Defence and Naval Academy Posts. UPSC will be conducting an examination on 27th September 2015 for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA for the 136th Course, and for the 98th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) commencing from 02 July 2016. Selected candidates joining Indian Naval Academy would undergo 4 years B.Tech Course and would be given an opportunity to join Executive and Technical Branches of the Navy subject to the availability of vacancies.

All the candidates who are aspiring for a career in Indian Army, Indian Air Force and Indian Navy at a young have an opportunity to set off their dream career right away at a young age. Total Number of Available Vacancies: 375 Posts

• National Defence Academy: 320 Posts

1.      Indian Army: 208 Posts

2.      Indian Navy: 42 Posts

3.      Indian Air Force: 70 Posts

• Naval Academy [10+2] Cadet Entry Scheme: 55 Posts

Required Educational Qualifications: All the aspiring candidates for the UPSC NDA and NA (II) 2015 should have following mentioned educational qualifications,

(i) For Army wing of National Defence Academy:- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern            of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or      a University. 

(ii) For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2    Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2        pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a          State Education Board or a University.

Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination. 

Such candidates who qualify the SSB interview but could not produce Matriculation/10+2 or equivalent certificate in original at the time of SSB Interview should forward duly attested photocopies to ‘Directorate General of Recruiting, Army HQ, West Block-III, R.K. Puram, New Delhi-110066 and for Naval Academy candidates to 'Naval Headquarters, DMPR, OI and R Section, Room No. 204, ‘C’Wing, Sena Bhavan, New Delhi-110011' by 24th June, 2016 failing which their candidature will be cancelled.

Required Age Limit for UPSC NDA and NA (II) 2015:

Candidates applying for the UPSC NDA and NA (II) 2015 should be,

• Unmarried
• Nor born earlier than 2nd January, 1997 and not later than 1st January, 2000 are eligible.

Selection Process of UPSC NDA and NA (II) 2015:

All the candidates who are found will be conducted an common entrance test written examination, psychological, aptitude test, intelligence and personality test and SSB interview. Candidates would be selected solely on the merit basis only.

Application Fee: All aspiring candidates for UPSC NDA and NA (II) 2015 (excepting SC/ ST candidates/ Sons of JCOs/ NCOs/ ORs specified in Note 2 below who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs. 100/- (Rupees Hundred only).

Application Format: All the applicants and candidates are herby requested to fill in the UPSC NDA and NA (II) 2015 examination application through online mode.

Payment Procedure:

All the candidates need to pay their application fees either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility of State Bank of India/ State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur/ State Bank of Hyderabad/State Bank of Mysore/ State Bank of Patiala / State Bank of Travancore or by using Visa/Master Credit/ Debit Card.

Step 3: Select and click on ONLINE APPLICATION FOR VARIOUS EXAMINATIONS OF UPSC to apply for UPSC NDA and NA (II) 2015 examination.

Step 4: Complete Part-I and Part-II registration by filling all true   details before from 20-06-2015 to 17-07-2015 by 11:59 P.M.

Step 5: Save and print the application for future correspondence.

• SSB Interview for the candidates qualified in written examination will be held during: January 2016 to April 2016.
• Commencement of Course: 02-07-2016.
