Telangana State Government is organizing Godavari Pushkaralu on a grand and unprecedented scale from 14-25 July, 2015. All the basic luxuriant and the exuberant arrangements have been made by the Govt. of Telangana in all the five districts of Pushkar Ghats such as Adilabad, Karimnagar, Khammam, Nizamabad and Warangal for the smooth conduct of the auspicious event which comes once in 12 years. Pushkaram is one of the most holy festivals in India, dedicated to worshipping the sacred rivers, and the celebrations take place at the shrines along the 12 major sacred rivers in India.

TSRTC Special Buses Schedule, Timings, Destinations for Godavari Pushkaralu 2015
During the last Godavari Pushkaralu held in 2003 Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) operated a total of 1537 special buses to transport 14.05 lakh pilgrims. TSRTC proposed to operate 2270 buses and transport more than 25 lakh pilgrims for this round of Godavari Pushkaralu observed from 14 - 25 July, 2015. Necessary contingency plans to meet any increased pilgrim traffic are also made.

Facilities at Temporary Bus stations
- Drinking water, toilets, canteens, public addressing system and enquiry, crew rest room, queue railings, adequate lighting
- Cloak room facility at four major ghats.
- Relief arrangements for breakdown vehicles arranged at 12 locations on all highways.
- 150 security personnel being deployed.
Civil Works at Major Pushkar Ghats: An amount Rs. 1.27 crore is spent on 23 temporary bus stations at ghats for providing passenger amenities.
Other Arrangements:
- Twenty-five special officers from Head Office and other units are pressed into service.
- Round the clock communication cells are set up at Head Office in Hyderabad, JBS, MGBS, district headquarters, Basar, Dharmapuri, Kaleshwaram and Bhadrachalam.
- All buses operating to Pushkarams will be taken up for special maintenance to ensure breakdown-free operations.
- Peak days of operations: 17, 18, 19, 23, 24 and 25 July, 2015
